This Warranty applies to new MG Motor branded vehicles (excluding commercial and IM vehicles) intended for personal use first registered between 1st August, 2024 and 30th June, 2025. This warranty does not include IM Motor branded vehicles, which are subject to a separate warranty. MG Motor warrants that, subject to the terms of this Warranty and exclusions further below, any new MG Motor branded vehicle supplied by MG Motor, or an MG Motor dealer will be free from manufacturing defects during normal use for the following periods.
Vehicles for non-commercial use (including EV & Hybrid vehicles)
Vehicles for commercial use (including EV & Hybrid vehicles)

These records must include:
In addition to the above, all service or maintenance work in relation to the Vehicle must be recorded in the maintenance and repair log in the Service & Warranty Booklet, which must be presented to an authorised dealer when making a claim under this Warranty.
If the Vehicle is not serviced and maintained in accordance with this Warranty, or the Owner’s Manual and Service & Warranty Booklet, the Vehicle will lose the benefit of this Warranty (though, for the avoidance of doubt, this does not affect any other rights that may exist in relation to the Vehicle under the Australian Consumer Law). Without limitation, if the Vehicle is not maintained and serviced promptly and in accordance with the Owner’s Manual and Service & Warranty Booklet (including the service intervals specified for the Vehicle), the Vehicle will lose the benefit of this Warranty. In some instances, the owner may be required to provide proof of servicing and vehicle maintenance to determine the availability of warranty coverage for certain repairs.
Specific Servicing Requirements (Extended Warranty)In order to be eligible to benefit from the Extended Warranty(as set out in the Warranty Period section above), the Vehicle must be exclusively serviced at an authorised MG Motor dealer, and each service must occur within 30 days and 2,000 kms of the scheduled interval.
If the Vehicle misses any service, or is serviced outside of the above intervals, it will no longer be eligible under this Warranty. If the Vehicle is serviced by a person other than an authorised MG Motor dealer, it will no longer be eligible under the Extended Warranty, but may continue to be eligible under the standard Warranty.
Specific Servicing Requirements (Standard Warranty)These specific servicing requirements apply to both the standard Warranty (the non-Extended Warranty) and the Commercial Use Warranty.
In order to be eligible to benefit from the standard Warranty or the Commercial Use Warranty, the Vehicle must be serviced by a suitably qualified Australian repairer in accordance with the Owner’s Manual and Service & Warranty Booklet, and each service must occur within 30 days and 2,000 kms of the scheduled interval.
There is no need for the Vehicle to be serviced at an authorised MG Motor dealer in order to benefit from the standard Warranty or the Commercial Use Warranty. However, if the Vehicle is serviced by a person other than an authorised MG Motor dealer, the service record for the Vehicle (as set out in the Warranty Validity section above) must be uploaded to MG Motor's online service portal within 10 days of the service date.

You will bear the expense of submitting a Warranty claim.
MG Motor will bear the expense of labour, freight and administrative costs if MG Motor assesses that a valid claim has been made under this Warranty.

Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
The rights described in this Warranty are in addition to the rights and remedies you have as a consumer under the Australian Consumer Law. This Warranty does not purport to limit liability or alter your rights as a consumer that cannot be excluded under applicable Commonwealth, State and Territory legislation, including the Australian Consumer Law.
If MG Motor determines that a Vehicle or component has a manufacturing defect within the terms of this Warranty, MG Motor will, at its own election, either replace the Vehicle or component with the same or comparable Vehicle or component, or repair it. The replacement of a Vehicle or component under this Warranty does not alter or renew the length of the Warranty in relation to that replacement Vehicle or component. Instead, the existing Warranty will apply to any such replacement Vehicle or component. MG Motor may use remanufactured or refurbished components as part of a repair under this warranty.
Limitation of liability. MG Motor shall not be liable for any consequential loss, indirect loss, economic loss, loss of revenue or special losses which are not reasonably foreseeable, that may arise from any defect of a vehicle.
Force Majeure. MG Motor is not liable for any breach of Warranty caused by or resulting from prohibition or restriction by law or regulation of any government, fire, flood, storms, war, strike, lockout, or other labour troubles, accident, riot, Acts of God, or others beyond the parties' control.
