You will have complete peace of mind thanks to MG Precise Price Service. With MG Precise Price Servicing, all items requiring maintenance as indicated in the MG service schedule, are included in the cost. This means we assure you that the price listed is the price you will pay.

IM Vehicles can be serviced nationally by the existing MG Motor dealer network. All MG Motor dealers have been approved by MG Motor Australia to be authorised service centres.

CYBERSTER Annual vehicle inspection

Every CYBERSTER scheduled service includes an annual vehicle inspection. These inspections ensure all vehicle components are wearing evenly, so you can be confident in driving your CYBERSTER around. Below is a list of items included in your annual vehicle inspection.

  • Check the function of the parking brake and adjust it as necessary.
  • Check operation of lamps, horns and system warning indicators.
  • Check operation and accuracy of windscreen wipers, washer and windscreen for damage - if the washer nozzles are adjustable, adjust them if required.
  • Check the condition and function of seat belts.
  • Check operation of A/C.
  • Check the condition and function of seats.
  • Check the condition of bonnet safety catch, tailgate/boot lid lock, door locks, hinges, door checks, etc., clean off dirt and debris and apply lubricating grease as necessary.
  • Check the connection and status of 12V battery.
  • Check the high-voltage harness for correct routing, interference, wear or damage.
  • Check the condition, installation and security of the Manual Service Disconnect switch.
  • Check the washer fluid level and top up as necessary.
  • Check the brake fluid level and top up as necessary.
  • Check the status of cooling system pipeline and connecting parts.
  • Check the level and concentration of coolant, top up as necessary.
  • Check condition and operation of the air conditioning system, such as compressor, pipelines, condenser, etc., and clean relevant surfaces if necessary.
  • Check the condition and operation of the brake booster.
  • Check the appearance of the high/low-voltage connectors to confirm the surface is damaged or not and the installation is in place or not. Check the high/low-voltage harness for mutual interference, wear or damage.
  • Check the appearance of high-voltage battery pack vent valve for damage, and check installation marks to see if it has moved.
  • Check the mounting position of the cooling water pipe clip to ensure reliable sealing.
  • Check the installation marks of any high-voltage battery pack mounting bolts and ensure the bolts are fastened.
  • Check the appearance of the high-voltage battery housing (including the bracket) for signs of cracks, damage crack or deformation.
  • Check the condition and security of the high-voltage battery pack grounding wire and replace it as necessary.
  • Examine front and rear brake pads, discs and calipers for wear and damage.
  • Replace if necessary.
  • Check brake pipes and hoses for condition and security. Ensure that hoses are not twisted or kinked.
  • Check the wheel bearings and drive shaft gaiters for security and condition.
  • Check the suspension and steering system for leakage or wear.
  • Check tires for tread depth and signs of damage, deformation or uneven tire wear, including the spare tire (if equipped). Check the four-wheel alignment data and perform front and rear wheel rotation as appropriate.
  • Check tire pressures and adjust as necessary, including the spare tire (if equipped).
  • Check chassis and underbody bolts and nuts for damage and security, replace them as necessary.
  • Check the electric drive transmission fluid level, and add to the standard level as necessary.
  • Check the electric drive transmission mounting bracket.
  • Use diagnostic software to reset maintenance interval indicator. Check and clear fault codes and check operation status of the control systems.
  • Check software version of electronic control units and upgrade to latest version if available.
  • Check the equalizing state of the high-voltage battery pack, and recommend the user to conduct equalizing charging as necessary.
  • Carry out the road test, and check the operation and function of power system, brakes, steering and other systems.

*Precise Price Service Pricing applies to the first 7 years or 7 scheduled services of owning your MG. Services are scheduled to occur at every 10,000 or 15,000 km / 12-month interval for Petrol vehicles (pending model and whichever occurs first) or 40,000 km/24 Months (up to 72 months 120,000km) for Electic vehicles. Service must be booked and carried out within 3000 kilometers or 28 days of the recommended mileage interval or service anniversary date. Current prices subject to change. Please refer to specified service schedules as issued for your vehicle by MG Australia for items included in the MG Precise Price Service pricing. MG Australia reserves the right to at any time modify or discontinue the MG Precise Price Servicing program.

1 Introduction
1.1 These terms and conditions apply to the 'Precise Price Servicing' program (Program) offered by SAIC Motor Australia Pty Ltd, trading as MG Motor Australia (MG Motor Australia) unless otherwise amended by MG Motor Australia.

2 Application of Program
2.1 The program applies to the new 'MG Motor' branded vehicles imported and distributed by MG Motor Australia and sold through an authorised MG Motor Australia Dealer (Eligible Vehicles).

3 Precise Price Servicing
3.1 Under the program, MG Motor Australia will display the price for scheduled services for the Eligible Vehicles on its website, at the following address: https://mgmotor.com.au/about/servicing.
3.2 The price displayed for scheduled services for the Eligible Vehicles will include the cost of all standard items requiring maintenance or servicing as indicated on the service schedule for each Eligible Vehicle, including labour costs for those items.
3.3 The price displayed on the MG Motor Australia website will not include:

  • items not lised on the service schedule for each Eligible Vehicle, or non-standard items listed on the service schedule for each Eligible Vehicle (including labour costs related to those items);
  • maintenance or repairs for wear and tear items, including (but not limited to) tyres, brake pads, light bulbs, wiper blades, batteries, fuses and drive belts;
  • any additional maintenance or repairs caused by a vehicle missing its scheduled servicing requirements;
  • accident damage and related items and labour;
  • any other servicing, repairs, or labour not included in the standard service schedule for each Eligible Vehicle.

3.4 MG Motor Australia will publish prices for each Eligible Vehicle for the duration specified for that Eligible Vehicle's service schedule, up to a maximum of 7 years for each Eligible Vehicle.
3.5 MG Motor Australia may amend the pricing displayed on its website, or these terms, throughout the year.

4 Program applies to specific Eligible Vehicles
4.1 The program pricing for each Eligible Vehicle listed on the MG Motor Australia website applies to that Eligible Vehicle, and no other Eligible Vehicle. The program does not apply to Eligible Vehicles that have been modified or altered.
