Customers of MG: All you need is love and an MG4
For many people, their car is an important part of their lives, but wouldn't normally be there for when they tie the knot.
The MG4 was right alongside Jason Gardener and his wife as they celebrated their wedding, with the Volcano Orange coloured EV standing proudly behind the smiling couple on their special day.
The whole concept started as just a joke from Jason when the Gardeners were getting their wedding photos taken.
However, when the wedding photographer saw the bright orange colour of the MG4, her eyes lit up and she knew it would fit in perfectly with the couple's Autumn themed ceremony.
"It was entirely accidental. As we were finishing the main photos, I said to my wife as a joke about getting a photo with the car," Jason said.
"The photographer saw my car and absolutely loved the idea, the theme of the wedding was autumnal colours so the orange fit in perfectly."
Jason said it was one of the funniest and most memorable aspects of the day, and it's something they will always remember and look back on fondly.
"The photo shoot was definitely one of the best and funniest memories from what was a great day. It was certainly a big part of what the guests were talking about," he said.
The search for the right car was a long one according to Jason with many vehicles consdiered before asking the MG4 to be his best man.
He added that it was a mixture of the value that was on offer, the stylish sporty exterior and interior, and the superb range the vehicle presented.
"The MG4 was great value for the money compared to other electirc vehicles on the market. The range that you get for the price was very difficult to beat overall," Jason said.
"I love the efficiency and comfort of the car. Where we live has extremely cold winters and the car still gets an exceptionally good range which has been fantastic."
"I think the car is priced excellently and the technology in the car makes it an attractive deal compared to cars that are maybe bigger brands."
With the competitive price of the MG4, Jason said he was impressed with the overall performance of the vehicle with it exceeding any intial expectations he had when he first got behind the wheel.
"I honestly didn't expect the driving to be as fun as it has been, especially at the price point at which the car is offered," he said.
"Being electric, the car is so easy to drive and is very responsive. The instant power you get from an electric motor is excellent as well."
While the market of electric vehicles continues to grow throughout the world, there is still a level of anxiety for people with the prospect of owning a fully electric vehicle, however with it now being his second, Jason said the fears are becoming less and less warranted.
"Having owned an electric vehicle before my MG4 I had gotten over my range anxiety, and the MG4 has been excellent at delivering the promised range even in tough conditions."
