"Trying to make people happy - when it comes to finance nowadays, people get a bit intimidated , but once I'm able to get an approval for the customer and I see them smile, that's what drives me."

Fred said that it is this aspect of the business that has led him to some of the most inspiring moments he's experienced while in his role at MG.
"There was a single mother of three kids. She worked three jobs and was able to save up enough to buy a brand-new MG with a few extra pre-delivery services."
"Seeing her smile from ear-to-ear when she got to pick up the car - that was very inspiring."
"A visa-applicant from New Zealand came in wanting a car - it's pretty difficuly to get finance for a non-resident, so I was very proud that I was able to organise a finance deal for that customer."
At the end of the day, Fred said he loves working at MG because he's able to turn people's dreams into reality.
"It's all about seeing customers excited and happy - seeing them get something that they've worked hard for."
