Lisa - Receptionist at Five Dock MG
Lisa is a Director of First Impression at Five Dock MG and understands she is actually a brand ambassador as much as she is a receptionist.
"I greet the customers as they walk in. It's very important as the first point of contact to leave a good impression and help the customers on the start of their journey," she said.
Her passion for carrying this high level of responsbility shines through in her bubbly personality to ensure people feel warm and welcomed the moment they step foot in the door of her dealership, and help them along their journey at Five Dock MG.
"I help them (customers) to navigate the dealership, introduce them to our wonderful sales executives, and provide them anything they may need to make their visit to Five Dock MG a memorable and enjoyable one."
You must approach every day with the right mindset according to Lisa, and really help to bring everyone together, not only the customer but also the team you work with.
"You have to have a good attitude when you come to work. You need to have a job that you look forward to coming to each day. If you aren't approaching your role with the right mindset then you'll always have a tough time," she said.
"It's about leaving any personal issues at the door and doing your role, and if you are lucky like I am then the team that surrounds you will help lift you up."
Lisa said she tries to lead always with an energetic and team first mindset and often finds this helps to lift the spirits of those around her, even if they are having a tough time.
"In general, I just love bringing a positive energy, you can't be negative, if you are you'll constantly bring down everyone else, and sometimes if someone is feeling down, it can be your positive energy that helps lift them up."
Lisa prior to MG had spent the last decade raising her family, and said she was excited to enter back into the workforce at Five Dock MG.
Living close by it has been the perfect role for her and her family and said she's been so grateful to join such a good team.
"I had been home for 10 years raising children, and one day I just began looking and saw the job here, which is five minutes from where I live, I had the interview, and the rest is history," she said.
"What I enjoy most about working at Five Dock MG is the people, the atmospere, it's a really good group of people here."
"I just love it, we are just a really good little family, we get along really well, and the customers are exceptionally lovely."
